1967-1971

Political Instability: The Government of India relied heavily on a particular political party, which controlled the majority Union in Banks. Union Misuse: The majority union misused its power, becoming the sole bargaining agent during the 2nd Bi-Partite negotiations in 1969-70.

1972

Formation of All India PNB Staff Federation: Emerged as an alternative national organization due to revolts against the dictatorial attitude of the majority union leaders.

1976-1977

Development of Affiliates: The Federation established affiliates in Bengal, Bihar, U.P., Haryana, Punjab, H.P., Jammu & Kashmir, Delhi, and Tamil Nadu. 2nd National Conference: Held in Delhi in 1976.

1983

3rd National Conference: Held in Patna.

Re-development of Affiliates: Despite losing some affiliates in Punjab, Haryana, H.P., J&K, and Tamil Nadu due to political changes and the emergence of other organizations, the Federation developed new affiliates in Rajasthan, M.P., Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Maharashtra.

1992

4th National Conference: Held in Delhi.

2001

Affiliates were formed in the new states of Uttranchal and Jharkhand.

2002

5th National Conference: Held in Delhi.

2006

6th National Conference: Held in Ranchi.

2007

Developed a new affiliate in Tamilnadu.

2024

Developed a new affiliate in Haryana.
